Wie zijn wij?
Militair Historisch Museum “De Veteraan”. Het privémuseum is ontstaan uit de collectie van Henk Schepers (sr) die al direct na de oorlog, 1945, is begonnen met verzamelen. Zijn eerste twee stukken waren de Nederlandse bajonet van zijn vader die in het Haarlems verzet (1e cie, 3e sectie, B.S.) zat en een Duitse bajonet. Zijn collectie groeide in de gouden jaren toen het allemaal nog betaalbaar was. Uiteindelijk heeft hij de collectie ondergebracht in een privémuseum, welk nu beheerd wordt door zijn kinderen. De collectie bestaat uit uniformen, wapens, uitrustingstukken, persoonlijke items, items op naam en dat tentoongesteld in 16 levendige diorama’s wat een verloop laat zien van WW2. Maar aan alles komt een eind. Door gebrek aan opvolging hebben we besloten het museum te sluiten en de spullen van de hand te doen. Wij zijn geen handelaar maar willen wel een eerlijke prijs voor onze spullen. Zie de producten op de website of kom langs want nog niet alles staat op de website.

Who are we?
Military Historical Museum "The Veteran". The private museum originated from the collection of Henk Schepers (Sr) who started collecting immediately after the war, 1945. His first two pieces were the Dutch bayonet of his father who was in the Haarlem resistance (1st cie, 3rd section, B.S.) and a German bayonet. His collection grew in the golden years when it was all still affordable. Eventually, he housed the collection in a private museum, which is now managed by his children. The collection consists of uniforms, weapons, equipment, personal items, items by name and exhibited in 16 lively dioramas showing a progression of WW2. But everything comes to an end. Due to a lack of succession, we decided to close the museum and get rid of the items. We are not a trader but we do want a fair price for our stuff.
